Freestyle was born in 1996 and is a beautiful 17hh stallion with an athletic body, very well applied hindquarters and a super character. In 1998 at the Westfalen stallion Licensing, Freestyle was named a PREMIUM stallion. At the 100 day Performance test at Prussendorf he was awarded a perfect 10 for character and a 9 for temperament. In dressage he proved to rank amongst the best of his year and received a 9.33 for ridebility. His total score was 132.55 points. A truly versatile stallion Freestyle obtained a 7th place finish in jumping with an 8 for jumping ability. Freestyle was the overall winner of his performance test. Freestyle is a class 1 stallion based on his results in his stallion performance test. Freestyle currently has a dressage index of 151 points placing him in the top 1% of all german dressage stallions, and giving him the HIGHEST index of any stallion standing in North AmericaIn 2002 Freestyle was the Reserve Champion 6 yr old FEI horse in the USA. US Olympic rider Gunter Seidel called Freestyle "The best 6 yr old dressage horse in the USA". Freestyle has continued to excel in the dressage arena; in 2005 Freestyle was Champion and High score at 4th Level, every time out. He won 5 championships at 4th level with score to 73.95%. Freestyle has shown to Prix St George level Dressage and won. Freestyle offspring are very much in demand; he has been a consistent producer of premium offspring. Freestyle's offspring inherit their sire's wonderful attributes; they are beautiful elastic movers, with correct conformation and outstanding temperaments. Freestyle's offspring are also proving to have tremendous rideability. In 2006 Twinkel R sired by Freestyle finished 10th overall at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses. Son Vloyd was top 40 at the Pavo Cup in Holland. In North America, Freestyle offspring are winning championships at prestigious line shows, in the hunter ring and also in the dressage arena. Freestyle also had two daughters named Ster-Keur eligible by the NA/WPN. Freestyle continues to prove that he is a consistent producer of top horses, and a leading sire in NA. In 2007 his oldest offspring including Twinkel R in Holland, and Top Secret in CA, are already showing succesfully 4th level dressage at only 7 years old. His son Freelance DSF repeated his win, and was named the 2007 5 year Canadian Performance Futurity Champion. Freestyle offspring Ade Lente was named the top 2 year old in NA by the KWPN-NA. Freestyle offspring are winning all over North America, his oldest offspring are just starting to hit the FEI area, one 7 yr old son Fitzhessen is already winning at 4th level in Florida. His foals also continue year after year to be named premium in almost every major stud book in NA, This year also in BC, a Freestyle offspring again won the CSHA foal championship.
