A most promising dark colored stallion by the World Champion in dressage, Sandro Hit, who is probably the most popular sire in the world right now because of his outstanding offspring. His daughter, Poetin, caused a sensation at the Bundeschampion in dressage, sold for 2.5 million Euro at the PSI auction and is just the tip of his iceberg of exclusive offspring. Sagnol is a talented young dressage sire of caliber with three perfect gaits. He comes from the famous Holstein mare line 776, the legendary Ramiro line that never ceases to produce great highlights such as the sires Acorado, Calvados, Cortino, Lordanos or Rouletto. A countless number of his offspring are active in top-level sport. What more can be said about his famous dam's sire, Landadel. Even after his death, his sons and daughters continue to leave a permanent mark on Oldenburg sport horse breeding. The Holstein sires, Fantast and Colt in particular, ensure a willingness to perform and the Thoroughbred stallions, Frivol xx, Cottage Son xx and Anblick xx add refinement and toughness to his pedigree. Sagnol was a finalist for the Hauptpremium Title for Young Dressage Stallion in Oldenburg 2005. Sagnol is a beautiful modern type stallion, with three super gaits. He is a wonderful addition to the NA stallion base, and an exciting cross for a wide variety of mares. His first foal crop born in 2005, in Germany was very well received. Sagnol's first North American born foals arrived in 2007, and this resulted in many premium foals, including San Bella rated premium by the Oldenburg Verband, site champion filly and declared as 'Elite Auction Quality Foal'. In 2008 Sagnol again had many premium foal's in multiple registries, including the winner of the CWHBA Foal Futurity in BC. In 2009 Sagnol's again had a very high percentage of Premium foal, with every breed registry which he is approved with, and again won the CWB foal futurity in BC, and well as siring the 2nd place foal as well. Sagnol's foal's are also proving to be in demand by FEI rider's looking for their top horse. Sagnol is siring very elegant foals, with beautiful heads and necks, correct conformation, and very elastic movement. In 2007 Sagnol also became of one the very few outside stallions ever to be approved by the American Holsteiner Horse Association. Sagrol is in training and being ridden by Canadian Olympic rider Leslie Reid, where he is showing everything needed to be a top FEI horse.
