Charmeur’s pedigree reads like a who’s who of the Holsteiner jumping bloodlines. Two times to Cor de la Brier through Corrado I and Colando I, three times to the foundation stallion Ramses through Capital I and Florida as well as Cottage Son and Farnase and this is just on his sire side. Dam sire Heraldik is considered by many to be the greatest modern sire of three day event horses, sitting at the top of the WBFSH rankings for 5 years as well as a sire of excellent show jumpers. Rounding off this potent pedigree is the Hanoverian Olympic Dressage Stallion Nebelhorn and further back the E line from Eisenherz and the D line from Duellant. The result is a very fertile and pre-potent stallion that passes on his long top line, elastic and light movement as well as tremendous jumping talent. Unfortunately Charmeur was injured as a young horse and so could not compete, although he has been trained and ridden sufficiently to confirm his excellent, gaits, rideability and willingness. Charmeur stamps his foals with an unmistakable quality and infuses his offspring with exceptional athletic ability.
