I am fortunate to have two passions in my life, horses and business, and when presented with an opportunity to combine both (as AB Chapter Secretary), I couldn’t refuse.

Growing up in Guelph, Ontario, my love of horses was instilled at a young age by my Mom. She signed me up for pony camp in the summer and we went to The Royal every winter together to watch the gorgeous horses. We both dreamed of owning our own one day! I graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Arts and Science with minors in Anthropology and Biology in 2008 and then completed a General Business Diploma from Conestoga College in 2010.

My multi-disciplinary education has provided me with a well-rounded and unique approach to all situations. This has led me well in my career where I have consistently worked management positions in major companies including Starbucks, GoodLife Fitness and GM Canada. I currently am the CGO at my own business that I operate with my husband, The Micro Collective, the fastest growing indoor cannabis micro-cultivator in Canada. I also operate as the Business Development Manager with Legacy Performance Training. I am a life long learner and more recently completed a Diploma in Equine Studies (with Distinction) from the University of Guelph in 2021.

In recent years I have started to become more involved with the breeding of Canadian Warmbloods, and own several of my own. After travelling with the CWHBA International Young Breeders team this summer to Holland, I was eager to find a way to be more involved with the association. I am looking forward to applying my skill-set to the Alberta Chapter of the CWHBA and building a long-term relationship with the organization while serving on the Executive as Secretary for 2023.
