Members of the CWHBA Board were saddened to hear of the recent passing of Jim Washer General Manager of the Canadian Livestock Records Corporation (CLRC), of which the CWHBA was a member for over 25 years. Having worked closely with Jim and other members of his staff, we came to appreciate his thoroughness and professionalism. Though our many interactions we came to know him as a positive enjoyable person who brought kindness and patience to his professional relationships. He was a pleasure to work with and we know he will be sorely missed by his staff at CLRC. We offer them and his family our sincere condolence. It is fitting that in lieu of flowers we are being are enjoining us “to please perform an act of kindness in your neighbourhood”
