New Brunswick stallion, Bon Baloubet (Bon Balou out of Highfaloutin Miss xx by Present Value xx) finished his 2022 competitive year with numerous division championships in Quebec and Nova Scotia, having recovered from an injury caused by a crash over a jump, in 2021, that removed him from the competition season.
To rebuild his confidence breeder, owner, trainer, and rider, Sarah King, decided to take him back to the lower divisions so he could find his ‘happy place’ jumping again. Within a few shows Bon Baloubet’s love for show jumping returned and by the end of the of the season he was competing and winning at 1.15m.
Bon Baloubet is spending his winter living and competing at WEC in Ocala, Florida, with his half sibling, Bon Espirit (Bon Balou out of Cataline Bella by Iris de Notre Dame). We wish them luck!
