Faraday in an exciting young stallion available publicly for the first time in 2024. He is a full brother to Fortunato H2O who was a member of the 2022 Bronze medal winning US Para-Dressage team at the World Cup in Herning and competes in able bodied dressage as well. Faraday has a similarly exemplary temperament. His canter was a highlight at the 2022 CWHBA Stallion Test. From the guest rider, he gave a very good feeling undersaddle. His canter was a highlight with ease of lengthing stride. In the walk she noted he has a very active hindleg. Faraday is a good student and enjoys dressage and some jumping. He shows good form in the chute and willingness over small jumps. His sire, Floriscount, was the 2008 winner of the 70-day test in Schlickau with a dressage index of 147.49. where he achieved the following grades: walk: 8.0, trot: 9.0, canter: 9.75, riding ability: 8.5 (test rider 10.0) and capacity: 9.0. Floriscount qualified both in 2010 and 2011 for the Bundeschampionat for 5-year-old and 6-year-old dressage horses in Warendorf. His damsire, Rascalino completed the dressage portion of his Adelheidsdorf performance test with the knockout score of 153.37. This score was good enough to make him the winner of the test, with the score of 103.56 on the jumping portion. In fact, this respectable jumping score is probably a product of the of the Wedekind/Ferdinand and Wendekreis/Ferdinand in damsire, Velten Third’s background. A further performance component is added through paternal grandsire Rubinstein I, a line known for dressage excellence, but also with some talent at the jump. World Cup III as the sire of the second dam insures dressage excellence. Rascalino is a beautiful, elegant animal with the best gaits and exceptional freedom of the shoulders, sure to make his mark in modern dressage breeding, in the hoofprints of his famous sire and grandsire. |
