General Comments – Sterling is an upcoming young stallion with a bright future in sport. He is sired by the most popular dressage stallion in North America in the last four years, Gaudi SSF. 
At his CWBHA inspection he received a ‘Premium’ and the judges noted he ‘showed nice uphill gaits, well matured, with good balance and elasticity. We are happy to grant a breeding license’. Sterling also received ‘Above Average’ for Conformation, Gaits and Breed & Sex Type. At his Keuring he met the breed standard in Dressage type. Sterling has already been started under saddle and has shown a steady approach to work and a willingness to please.
We expect Sterling to produce modern, elegant offspring with supple, balanced movement out of a wide range of mares. Sterling’s pedigree offers breeders a stallion free of Jazz, Flemmingh and Ferro combined with expressive, supple movement and a good character.

Pedigree Notes – terling’s paternal grandsire Totalis need no introduction and his paternal granddam, Annabel leads the KWPN index for dressage mares. She has produced top sport and keuring horses.
Sterling’s damline shows strong production with his maternal half brother Jaleet being a KWPN-NA Licensed Stallion and producing 100% premium foals including dressage prospects. Sterling’s dam is Dorenda, who has consistently produced elegant, good minded offspring with exceptional movement for dressage. Scot Tolman’s assessment of Dorenda is ‘What a mare!’ and having seen her he had no hesitation about the Hackney influence through Plains Liberator.
